4 Things Everybody Needs To Realize
Hiii! Welcome to my first blog post! I'm Mikaela and here are 10 things that everyone should realize:
1.) Eat the cookie
or the cake, or the ice cream, etc. You deserve to be happy, so if you want a cookie, eat one. I'm not saying that physical health isn't important, but your emotional/mental health is important too. So, stop torturing yourself and eat.
2.) Money is not everything
Guys, yes, money is great, but there is more to life than money. There's sunsets to watch and people to meet. There's bills to pay and groceries to buy too, but if you let these control your every thought then you're hurting yourself. Money is needed for materialistic things, but the best things in life come free to us.
3.) No one cares about your excuses
Sounds harsh right? This is the nicest way I could put it (lol). But, for real, if you made a commitment and didn't hold it out, no body is going to acknowledge your reasons why you didn't do what you said you were going to do. [Now, this doesn't apply to everything because obviously some excuses are legit and some things are just out of our control; I'm referring to the irrelevant excuses (ex: my dog ate my homework— yeah right)].
4.) You are not what people say you are
This one is HUGE— I can't stress this one enough. You are not a waste of space, you are not ugly, you are not worthless, you are not annoying, you are not stupid, etc. People talk. And that's all it is — talk. There is no truth behind what people say about you unless you become what they say you are. So, realize that people don't know anything about you and that you are not what they say you are.
